Safety Tips
Last updated: September 27, 2026
Your safety comes first. These practical recommendations help you use Goroja with confidence — before, during and after every conversation.
1. Prioritise verified profiles
A verification badge means our team confirmed the identity behind a profile. Look for it before you write, read several reviews and check that the photos look consistent.
Verification reduces risk, but it is not a guarantee. Always use your own judgement.
2. Keep conversations on Goroja
Message inside the platform for as long as possible. Our conversations are protected, keep a record of what was agreed and let you report a user with one click.
Contact details such as WhatsApp, Telegram or phone are only revealed when you choose to unlock them — do so when you feel ready, not under pressure.
3. Never pay in advance
Do not send money, gift cards or cryptocurrencies to anyone before meeting, and never share card numbers, PINs or banking credentials through messages.
Anyone who insists on an advance payment or asks you to verify yourself with a bank transfer is acting in bad faith. Report them immediately.
4. Make the first meeting safe
- Choose a public place for the first meeting and arrive on your own.
- Tell a trusted person where you are going and share your live location.
- Meet in daylight or in busy venues the first time.
- Agree the details — place, duration and price — in writing before you meet.
- Trust your instincts: if something feels wrong, leave.
5. Protect your personal data
Do not share your home address, workplace, financial information or identification documents early in a conversation. Use the platform’s messaging until you know who you are talking to.
Use a strong, unique password and never reuse it from another service.
6. Respect and consent
Consent is mandatory, specific and can be withdrawn at any moment. Accepting a booking never implies acceptance of anything else.
Harassment, insults, threats and discriminatory behaviour result in immediate removal from the platform.
7. Health and wellbeing
Take care of your physical and emotional health. Set clear boundaries, practise safer sex and consider regular health check-ups. Goroja is not a substitute for medical advice.
8. Report and block
If a profile is fake, a message is abusive or a payment request looks fraudulent, use the report option on the profile or in the conversation. Our moderation team reviews every report and acts quickly.
Blocking a user immediately stops them from contacting you again.
9. Emergencies
Goroja is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number first, then let us know so we can act on the account involved.
